We are accepting applications to the Ph.D Program in Physics on a rolling basis for all candidates with Junior Research fellowship of CSIR, UGC, or DST Inspire fellowship. Candidates should have a Masters degree in Physics/Applied Physics/Electronics or an equivalent degree in Engineering (M.E./M. Tech. or M.Sc.(Engg) etc). Alternately, the candidate can have a B.E./B.Tech degree in any branch of Engineering (including Engineering Physics). Please email copies of your CV, degree certificates, and marks, as well as scanned copies of fellowship approval certificates to phdphysicsadmissions@iith.ac.in. You will be notified via email about the exact date of the interview. All other candidates can apply for the regular Ph.D applications, held twice a year.
