Dates: December 16 - 20, 2026
The XXVII DAE-BRNS High Energy Physics (HEP) Symposium is one of India’s most prestigious biennial scientific gatherings, organized under the aegis of the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). In 2026, the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is honored to host this flagship event, bringing together the country’s leading physicists and global experts.
The symposium’s scientific program is designed to foster deep intellectual exchange through a series of invited plenary talks and specialized parallel sessions. Furthermore, a dedicated poster session will provide a vibrant platform for young researchers and doctoral students to showcase their latest findings and engage with senior peers. The 2026 deliberations will span the full spectrum of the field—from foundational theoretical frameworks to cutting-edge experimental results—covering key areas such as Standard Model and Beyond, Neutrino Physics, Astroparticle Physics, Cosmology, Heavy-Ion Physics, and advances in Detector Instrumentation.
